Previously, the transfer of molds between stamping, machining, and assembly stations in this workshop mostly relied on a combination of “cranes+manual forklifts”: each mold movement took 20-30 minutes (crane lifting required 2 workers to coordinate, and manual forklifts struggled on uneven workshop floors).
The workshop space of this factory is relatively large, and the transportation distance is fixed and repeated, so the customer needs a rail compatible, battery powered, heavy-duty transport vehicle to improve efficiency and safety.
After the introduction of a 1-ton electric track flat car with fences, the mold transfer process has become safer. Customers’ materials can be covered by fences without the risk of spillage or falling, greatly improving the efficiency of transportation
Customers have reduced their reliance on cranes and manual forklifts, shortened transfer times, and improved the safety of daily mold handling operations.
