A Shanghai automotive equipment manufacturer needed a flexible way to move materials around its intelligent body-in-white welding line. The catch: the environment had to be explosion-proof and waterproof, and fixed rails didn’t fit the layout.
We supplied a customized BWP-15T EX — a 15-ton, battery-powered cart that runs without rails.

The BWP-15T EX was built around the customer’s actual working conditions rather than a standard configuration.
It operates on an onboard battery, so it doesn’t depend on a fixed power source along its route. The electrical system is explosion-proof, and the solid conductive wheels are matched to the requirements of the working environment. Several safety protection devices are included to reduce operational risk.
Operators can control the cart from a distance using the remote, or switch to the manual handle when working up close.
After installation and commissioning, the cart went into service on the customer’s production line, handling internal material transport and positioning.
The trackless structure gives it noticeably more freedom than rail-mounted carts, while the reinforced frame keeps heavy loads stable even on uneven workshop floors.
