Tired of coils shifting on a flat deck? The V-frame rail cart from PERFECT (PaFeiTe) stops steel coil, aluminum coil, and wire rod from rolling the moment the load drops in. Two adjustable steel angles cradle the round load from both sides — gravity holds it down, no straps, no crating, no crane hovering overhead. Angle adjusts 90°–120° to fit your coil OD. Contact pads in polyurethane or UHMW protect the surface; non-marking grade available for stainless and bright-finish aluminum. Capacity 5–50T as standard.

Key Features

V angle adjustable: 90° to 120°, set to fit your coil outer diameter. Wider angle for large-diameter thin-wall coils, narrower for small heavy coils.

Contact pads: Polyurethane or UHMW, 12–20 mm thick. No metal-on-metal contact. Non-marking grade available for stainless and aluminum.

Retaining chain: Optional cross-chain for narrow coils with high center of gravity. Engages after the coil is set, releases before unloading.

Deck base: 8–10 mm Q235 plate, box beam frame. Flat when the V-frame is removed — one cart handles both coil and pallet loads on different shifts.

Drive: Single or dual axis, VFD soft start. Speed 0–20 m/min. Electromagnetic brake on power loss.

Control: Wireless remote standard. Operator walks alongside, adjusts speed, docks to ±10 mm. Pendant optional.

When Selected

Choose a V-frame cart when the load is round and the route has any acceleration, deceleration, or stop. Flat deck plus straps works for short pushes at walking speed — anything faster, the coil shifts. V-frame holds it without straps, without crane assistance, without stopping the line to re-secure.

Running mixed loads? The V-frame bolts to the deck. Remove it, you have a flat cart. One chassis, two jobs.

FAQ

Q: Will the pads scratch the coil surface?

A: No. UHMW or polyurethane pads are softer than the coil surface. For stainless or bright-finish aluminum, we use a non-marking grade and can add a fabric layer.

Q: How is the coil loaded onto the V?

A: Crane lowers the coil vertically between the V angles. The coil settles into the cradle by its own weight. No manual positioning needed. For horizontal loading (coil on mandrel), we add a tilt-assist frame.

Q: Can one V-frame fit all my coil sizes?

A: Within a range, yes. The angle adjusts. Outside that range, we build a second V insert or a wider frame. Send your smallest and largest coil OD/weight and we size it once.

Q: What if the coil is very narrow and tall?

A: High center of gravity means more tip risk during start/stop. We add a retaining chain across the top, or a third center support arm. Speed is also limited to 8–12 m/min for narrow coils.

Q: Can the cart rotate the coil?

A: Not on this deck. If you need rotation, that is a separate turntable cart. But most coil moves do not need it — the crane sets the coil in the right orientation and the cart just delivers it.
